This dynamic online improvisation class is designed to help actors become more confident, adaptable, emotionally available, and fully present in front of the camera. Covering both comedy and drama, the class focuses on developing the essential improvisation skills needed to succeed in today’s film and television industry.
Actors will work on listening, spontaneity, emotional responsiveness, scene adaptability, chemistry, and truthful reactions under pressure — all while learning how improvisation specifically applies to on-camera performance. Unlike traditional theatre improv, this class is tailored to real Film & TV environments, including framing awareness, movement for camera, vocal control, eyelines, pacing, redirects, and working naturally within the technical demands of a set.
Throughout the course, students will participate in a wide range of exercises including scene work, partner exercises, cold reads, improvisation techniques, on-camera adjustments, and industry-style audition scenarios designed to strengthen confidence and performance flexibility.
This class is ideal for actors of all experience levels who want to improve their self-tapes, become stronger during redirects and chemistry reads, and develop the confidence to stay grounded and responsive in unpredictable on-set situations.
